A commercial driver's license (CDL) is a license that is required of drivers to operate heavy vehicles on USA roadways. There are several different classifications of CDL licenses based on the weight of the vehicle. The fastest and easiest way for someone to obtain their CDL license is to take a training course. Typically these courses are less than a month long. Due to the countrywide shortage of truck drivers, students who get their commercial driver's license can go on to work for a number of companies immediately, often with great pay and benefits.

CDL PROGRAM AT A GLANCE
During the first few days of a truck driving school, students will be in the classroom or computer lab, learning everything they need to know for the written permit test.
Afterwards, students will move outside and begin learning pre-trip guidelines, truck inspections, and making maneuvers.
Once the field work is done, students will learn how to drive on the road safely and efficiently. Upon completion of the program, students will be fully prepared to pass the road test.

"Started school on March 12 and had my CDL on April 20th. Overall, I had a blast there. Great instructors who are easy going and laid back willing to help you anyway they can. The students helped out a lot to. Felt like a second family. Thanks for everyone’s help and having the confidence in me when I wasn’t confident in myself. Great school, great people. I’m going to miss you guys but I’m happy to begin my new journey in life." - Brandy Bucholz
