Partner Spotlight: Southern California University of Health Sciences

Since 1911, Southern California University of Health Sciences has impacted the lives of thousands of students with an integrative healthcare education. This year, they've partnered with Coder Camps to expand their robust curriculum to include an online Software Development for Healthcare program. Skills Fund is proud to be the financing partner for this online, 24-week course.

BECOME A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Program Highlights:

  • 1:1 Instruction: Work live with mentors and instructors
  • Lifetime Career Services: Interview skills, create resume, build portfolio
  • Create a Project: Showcase your programming skills to impress future employers
  • High Job Growth: 13% projected increase in tech-based careers over the next 10 years, higher than any other occupation, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
  • Similar Occupations: Full Stack web developer, software engineer, computer programmer

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

Over the course of 24 weeks, students will start from scratch by learning the foundations of front-end design, front-end frameworks, databases, programming, and back-end concepts. In the second half of the course, students develop a knowledge of more specialized materials, including software development for healthcare. The end of the course is finalized by a group project. As part of Coder Camps' "Coder for Life" pledge, upon completion of the program students may choose to take an unlimited number of courses in the program at no additional charge.
