WHO IS SKILLS FUND?

Skills Fund's mission is simple: we transform student lives and careers by accelerating the growth of and access to high-quality skills education. With a team of leaders in student lending, higher education and consumer protection, Skills Fund pulls upon extensive expertise to create a financing platform that is transparent, seamless, and offers students financial flexibility.

Skills Fund believes bootcamps, lenders, and industry should share in ensuring student success - and that’s what we’re working daily to make happen.

WHAT ARE YOUR INTEREST RATES?

We work with partner schools to promote access to as many students as possible. All credit approved students - with or without a cosigner - have access to one, low universal interest rate and the exact same flexible loan terms.

Please see your bootcamp’s Skills Fund partnership site (all can be found on the Bootcamps page) for further details on our partnership loan terms.

WILL I QUALIFY FOR A SKILLS FUND LOAN?

We're on a mission to promote access to as many students as possible. As long as you meet basic underwriting criteria, such as no recent bankruptcies nor history of default on any private or government student loan and are a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), you will most likely qualify for a Skills Fund loan.

HOW DO YOU PICK SCHOOLS TO WORK WITH?

Skills Fund performs extensive due diligence (think accreditation-like analysis) to confirm our partner schools truly are the best of the best. We examine everything from how the school markets the program, to the admissions process, quality of curriculum, pedagogy, short- and long-term student outcomes, and other factors to ensure its a leading program.

Our due diligence is then validated by our strategic financing partner, Iowa Student Loan, and together we ensure partner schools are setting the bar high and paving the way to enable real student success.
