Since 2016, Carolina Career College has trained over 3,000 students to gain entry to careers within the Computer and Information Technology fields. They offer a variety of part-time career development programs at their campus in Durham, North Carolina, using hands-on training in an interactive and personal learning environment.

THE CURRICULUM AND FORMAT

Carolina Career College's curriculum is developed by leaders in the industry, with a focus on training individuals for a career in information technology. They maintain a low teacher to student ratio that never exceeds 24:1. Only vendor-certified training materials are used to ensure that the content is relevant and will provide successful outcomes for passing certification exams.

THE CURRICULUM

The Desktop Support Technician (DST) program helps prepare students for entering the Information Technology field without previous experience. As a desktop support technician, graduates from this program will be marketable for entry-level technical opportunities that include installing and maintaining network hardware, operating systems and software.

The Systems Administrator (SA) program helps prepare students for entering the Information Technology field without previous experience. As a Systems Administrator, graduates from this program will be marketable for entry to mid-level technical opportunities that specialize in operating systems and server administration.

The Security and Network Infrastructure Specialist (SNIS) program helps prepare students for entering the Information Technology field without previous experience. As a Security and Network Infrastructure Specialist, graduates from this program will be marketable for entry to mid-level technical opportunities that specialize in network administration with an emphasis in security.

As part of the curriculum, Carolina Career College offers lifetime career services to students including mentoring and professional career coaching, career skills assessment, resume development and distribution, cover letter creation, exclusive career fairs and career placement assistance, and career advancement assistance.

Eligible Carolina Career College students may borrow from $2,000 up to full tuition for the Desktop Support Technician, Systems Administrator, and Security and Network Infrastructure Specialist programs.
