New Partner Alert: ADTC

At Skills Fund, we live our mission every single day: connecting students with financing for educations that will change their lives. We're excited to announce a new type of partner: American Diesel Training Centers (ADTC), based in Columbus, Ohio. Over the course of more than 300 hours of hands-on training utilizing state-of-the-art curriculum and online tools, students learn the in's and out's of preventative maintenance, electrical, brakes, diagnostics, emissions, safe practices, and knowledge of tools. Using ADTC's partnership with Skills Fund, eligible students can borrow $7,500 for ADTC's tuition, as well as an additional $2,500 tool stipend.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

ADTC emphasized hands-on training: only a small portion of your time will be spent in lectures. The majority will be spent in ADTC's expansive workshop, where you'll get hands-on training in topics such as:

  • Preventative maintenance
  • Tire alignment
  • Brakes
  • Electrical
  • Diagnostics
  • On the job training

After the 12-week program, students go on to find their perfect career, often at one of ADTC's partner employers.
