WHAT DO DATA SCIENTISTS DO?

To put it broadly, Data Scientists extract, organize, and glean knowledge from large amounts of data. No matter what type of business you're in, or what your role is, chances are you're using (or creating) data on a daily or even hourly basis. Data Scientists are able to grab that data and discover new analytic and business insights from it. Just about anyone can gather some information from creating a graphic in excel, but Data Scientists are able to use pattern recognition and deeper learning to discover new associations and causes.

WHAT LANGUAGES DO DATA SCIENTISTS USE?

Data Scientists primarily use Python (more on that here), R, Java (more on that here), and SQL.
